“Be spontaneous, and brave! Skip touristy and enjoy the culture & people!”

Hey there!
I’m Meng Wee, from Malaysia 🇲🇾

I’m a student in biotechnology and web development, currently travelling the world on a budget! This is a space where I share my thoughts & tips while hitting the road!
Over the years, I’ve traveled to numerous countries and met countless amazing people, experiencing the adventure of a lifetime. Coming from a developing country like Malaysia, I don’t have the currency advantage that many European travelers enjoy. Therefore, finding ways to afford a travel-filled lifestyle is crucial. That’s why I decided to open a blog to share my journey on traveling extensively without breaking the bank. In this blog, I’ll discuss how I finance my travels through multiple streams of income, including maximizing my savings through investments, working overseas and online; while also minimizing spending by leveraging several money saving strategies.
